Who didn't see this coming? The only person who seemed to be in the dark about this child being headed for frequent trips to the lockdown facility was his mouthy mama. Got hit with a weed charge apparently.

It was evident to me during that episode when he was adament about college not being his thing and his decision to take a break that he was going downhill.

Don't Be Tardy For The Un-Employment Line?

It looks like Real Housewives of Atlanta stars NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak may soon be searching for new gigs.

Sources say Bravo wants to replace the two for the 3rd season of RHOA because they're demanding more money for the new season.  Producers are reportedly "so fed up with their diva-esque requests” that they’re “taking meetings with some notable and wealthy Atlanta women” about taking their places.

One source says the only woman the housewives were united in vetoing from the show is Tameka Foster Raymond (Usher's ex), because they say she's not well-liked in the ATL.  All the housewives said they'd walk if Tameka made it into the cast.

If NeNe and Kim do get the boot, I sure hope they bounce back quickly.  I mean, mamma needs a new hair hat right?  Kim's "vulumptus" wig habit doesn't just pay for itself.

Can the RHOA survive without these two dramatic train wrecks?  Would you watch it without them?

RHOA News: AJ's Death Ruled Homicide

Ok, try to keep up with this one...

The death of the former fiancee of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Kandi Burruss has been ruled a homicide, but the details are tricky. Reports say A.J. Jewell died from a rare trait of sickle cell anemia that became fatal due to the fight he had in the parking lot of an Altanta strip club.

The coroner's report says:

“Although Mr. Jewell died of complications of his underlying natural disease conditions, [the] complications would not have occurred if he had not experienced the extreme exertion that was part of the physical altercation. Due to the active involvement of another person, the manner of death is classified as a homicide.”

Meanwhile, the man who fought with A.J. outside the club has been released from jail on bond pending a possible indictment.  

A.J.'s family is upset by the coroner's findings. They say the report both classifies his death as a homicide but also blames a ‘sickle cell crisis’ for his death. Jewell's mother is said to be "unsatisfied" with the investigation and may ask that his body be exhumed for another autospy.

Uh, do they think he's Medgar Evers? I'm so cornfused with all that medical lingo but it seems the long and short of it is he had a pre-exisiting condition and probably didn't even know that he had no business fist-fighting in the first place. The end.

RHOA News: Suspect in AJ's Death Out of Jail

The man accused of killing Ashley "AJ" Jewell is out on a $10,000 bond. A judge says Frederick Richardson will only return to jail if he's convicted of killing RHOA cast member Kandi Burruss' former fiancé.

Initially, it was thought AJ died of trauma to the head after a fight between he and Richardson, but now an autopsy suggests AJ's death may have been related to sickle cell anemia. The medical examiner is waiting for test results before determining AJ's cause of death though.

Kandi's Poppin' "Tags" In Atlanta

Kandi Burruss is takning a cue from her "fashionable" [insert eye roll here] cast mates of the RHOA and getting into the fashion game.  She's not designing a clothing line though.  Instead, she's opening a clothing and accessories boutique with a friend near Atlanta. The shop is called "Tags" and will sell affordable pieces, including items from Lisa Wu Hartwell's "Closet Freak" and sHEree Whitfield's "sHE by sHEree" lines.

60% of the inventory will cater to men. And chile, you know Atlanta has some fashion-loving men, honayyy (*looking at YOU Dwight*).

Good luck Kandi. It's about time we heard some good news about her.

RHOA cast members NeNe and Kim popped by Jimmy Kimmel's show last night, after the season finale of their show.





OMG, NeNe got some work done on that hair hat!  Praise Him!
You could cut that tension with a butter knife though.

Are NeNe & Sheree About To Be Homeless?

Those sHE by Sheree dollas must not be rolling in too good.  Word is Sheree Whitfield and NeNe Leakes will both be looking for new homes soon.  Bravo actually pays for the lease on both of the Altanta homes.

Sources say the housewives spent their Bravo money and are super pissed the show's going into syndication and they're not being paid well for it.  That's why NeNe is pushing the book and flying West to do hosting gigs.  So far, NeNe was rumored to have been forced out of the home she lived in during the first season.  We all know Sheree got independent and moved to a new home.  And Lisa Wu Hartwell had to downsize as well.

Guess they all need a Big Poppa too!

NeNe is Miss Undastood!

RHOA star NeNe Leakes says the producers make her out to be the bad guy.  Seems like the producers can only "produce" what you give them... but anyway, here's what she tells Essence.

ESSENCE.COM: You expressed that you wanted to set the record straight about the season finale that airs this Thursday. What gives?
NENE LEAKES: I had a meeting with production because I was really upset with the final episode because I believe I was portrayed as this evil person.

ESSENCE.COM: How so?
NENE: Well, a lot of things are edited to be seen a certain way, when in reality it's really not that way all the time. Don't get me wrong, the events that are taking place are real, but depending on the editing they can cut and paste and make it appear as if you say something at a certain time when it didn't happen in that sequence at all.

ESSENCE.COM: Understood, but you're not an ingénue to dramality TV and this practice is nothing new, so why are you so upset about the show's portrayal of you now?
NENE: Yes, I know that's what they do, but the first season they didn't edit me. It happened this season because we have a different show runner and this season has been a lot more planned and scripted. Last season they just let us go which made for a great show, but this time around, the show runner will say something like, you need to go over there and talk to Kim about "Tardy for the Party." They've also been making a lot of changes to the sequence of events. For instance, we all arrived to Sheree's fashion show late because there was a huge car accident, and when we arrived they all ushered us to our seats and the show began immediately, but when you see the episode they show me talking to Kandi which is not what happened.

Kim Speaks On AJ's Death

RHOA star Kim Zolciak is speaking out on the death of Kandi Burruss' former fiance, AJ.  Kim spoke out on the Bravo show Watch What Happens Live. She says Kandi is thankful for all the support she's received.



Meanwhile, AJ was laid to rest Friday.  AJ was killed in a fight outside the Atlanta strip club, Body Tap, a week ago.

Brew News: AJ Killed Over Respect?

Many a street fight, stabbing or shooting stems has stemmed from someone feeling "disrespected." It's silly to think that someone else can snuff your "respect" so much that you'd want to kill them. But, it appears "respect" may be at the heart of the incident that left Real Housewife Kandi Burruss' former fiance dead outside and Atlanta strip club.

Suspect: Frederick Richardson

WSB TV reports Atlanta police believe Ashley “A.J.” Jewell was killed over a lack of respect at that strip club. Police say A.J. had words with Frederick Richardson, an employee at the club. Richardson has since been charged with voluntary manslaughter. Police say those words were about a business decision or a struggle over power for the club.

Meanwhile, before the brawl, AJ was in the midst of a Twitter beef (I guess you can call it that). It appears he was sick of people accusing him of mooching off Kandi. He attempted to clear that up via Twitter.

Amazing the levels that pride can take us. No one else was in that relationship. Why air it out via Twitter? Now, we'll never know...

Brew News: Kandi's Fiance Killed

We all laugh at the drama that is the Real Housewives of Atlanta, but this season, the show has taken an awful turn for its newest cast member.

The former fiance of RHOA star Kandi Burruss was killed in a fight outside Body Tap in Atlanta Friday night. 33 year old Ashley "AJ" Jewell (the father of 6) was co-owner of the Georgia strip club. Police say he suffered massive head injuries in the fight. Atlanta police arrested club co-worker Frederick Richardson in connection with the case. He's been charged with voluntary manslaughter.

Kandi took to her Twitter page to talk about the incident:

In August, Kandi told Essence magazine the marriage was put on hold and the relationship "on hiatus" but that she and AJ would remain friends.

Our prayers go out to her and AJ's children. What awful news.

UPDATE: Police have charged Frederick Robinson with voluntary manslaughter. He's currently recovering in the hospital from injuries sustained in the alleged fight with Jewell. He will be arrested once released. Police are trying to sort out the details but preliminary findings point to a business deal gone wrong.

Well what the Ellen DeGeneres, Portia De Rossi, Katy Perry do we have here??? Nene and Gretchen from the "Real Housewives of Orange County" did brunch the other day.....and maybe each other....... hmmmmm.

Pics can be deceiving but this one was too juicy to pass up, besides, Nene was probably just whispering to Gretch that one of her eyelashes had fallen off or something........
