Shyne's first release since leaving the pokey has hit the innawebs and let’s just say it’s... uh... well...

The song, “All My Life” is actually a DJ Khaled track, featuring Shyne, Akon and Mavado. Take a listen and you tell me what you think of Shyne, cuz I got nothing.

Rising From The Ashes… Shyne + Scott Storch

Shyne is planning to drop some new fiyah for the people. The former Bad Boy is working on his first album in more than 10 years. And, to add to the "where is he now" factor, he's got Scott Storch producing it.

Storch was reportedly talking to Shyne throughout his prison sentence (Puffy? Not so much.) Storch says the two actually became friends after Shyne went to the slamma. Storch said:

"I'm looking forward to doing, not just one record, but doing a chunk on his album... He's in full effect. He's got people sending him tracks. I have a feeling he's going to make a really huge album... He's got a lot to say."

Now, that's the understatement of the year.

No word yet on a release date.

Diddy's favorite bodyguard Shyne is back in his native Belize and there's video of his arrival.

These Belize people are beautiful.  I'm trying to go.  Somebody send me a plane ticket.

Brew News: Shyne Deported Today

Shyne's stint in America is over.  He's headed back to his native Belize today.  Shyne was born there but raised in the U.S.  Sadly for him though, he never got his U.S. citizenship straightened out.

Shyne was released from prison on October 6th, but was detained by immigration officials for more than 20 days.  Despite attempts from some high-up politicians, Shyne lost his bid to stay in the U.S.  He'll return to Belize where his father, Prime Minister David Barrow, will greet him when he arrives.

Under U.S. law, convicted felons are deported to their country of origin following the end of the sentence.  What's the point in using my tax dollars to jail someone then send them home?

Brew News: Shyne Update

Shyne will have to fight to get back into the US, if immigration gets its way.  The rapper will be released from immigration custody soon but he will be deported back to Belize, where his father is Prime Minister.

Meantime, his fans are urging New York Governor David Paterson and New York Senator Chuck Schumer to help Shyne out.

NYC DJ Angie Martinez spoke to Shyne as says he's "one of the strongest people I know and he’s handling this situation just as I’d expect him to. It must be frustrating for all of his friends and family; he served his time, and keeps getting all these different dates and conflicting information. But he’s a soldier, he’s dealing with it.”

Shyne To Diddy: You's A Lie

Rolling Stone reports the "conversation" between rapper Shyne and P. Diddy was a lie!

Shyne (new name: Moses Levi) was dropped from Bad Boy after the 1999 New York club shooting that left 2 people injured and left Diddy and then-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez free to walk the streets.  Shyne was sentenced to 2 years behind bars for the shooting.  Since that time, he claims Diddy betrayed him by hiring lawyers who didn't do their jobs.

But the real smoking gun is the comment Diddy gave Hot 97 radio.  He said he'd talked to Shyne and that the jailed rapper was “in good spirits.”  Shyne says the comment is shocking.  He called it a "figment of Sean Combs’ imagination."  Shyne went on to say:

“He never spoke with me, he never visited me nor would I ever accept a phone call or visit from him. The only way I would do either of those things would be if he stepped up and did the right thing for the victims of the incident.”

Booyacka son!

A $130 million civil lawsuit filed by victim Natania Reuben against Combs and Shyne is still pending in Brooklyn.  Shyne says he was "afraid for [his] life" and only fired the gun in self defense after his friends were involved in an altercation with a man named Matthew “Scar” Allen.

Shyne served 8 years for assault, reckless endangerment and gun possession.  He's in custody as the feds decide whether to deport him to his native Belize (where his daddy is the prime minister).  His father (pictured below) has asked New York Governor David Paterson to pardon his son.

I hope Belize is hot and tropical this time of year because it looks like after all that hullabaloo, Shyne may be returning there real soon. The former Bad Boy was set to be released from prison today for P. Diddy-JLo shoot up the club fiasco. Shyne had been serving a 10 year sentence and was due to be welcomed home today. But, lady justice is putting the brakes on that.

His release is now under review and he's being detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement at an unspecified facility in Western New York State.

MTV reports officials are determining whether or not to deport the rapper to his homeland of Belize.

As of 6 pm (ET), Shyne's family reached out to NY Gov. David Paterson but it "does not look good."

Duck, Diddy! Shyne Is Outta The Slammer

Well Merry friggin' Christmas! Jamal "Shyne" Barrow is set to be released from prison today, after serving 10 years for that 1999 club shooting. And everybody in the rap game seems to be cheering for the Biggie soundalike.

Fabolous took to his Twitter page to call Shyne's release a "hood holiday." Uh, I think MLK day is a holiday...not so much THIS day. But, tomato, tomahto.

Anyway, Diddy says he fully expects Shyne to return to the industry.



Shyne will undergo a 2 and a half year post-release supervision.

Wonder if Diddy's about to hop that last train to Paris now?

The rumor is Jay visited him in prison the other day to offer him a record deal..... interesting, we shall see.......
